Homoeopathy as a Career

A career in complementary and traditional systems of medicines is much in demand today. All across the country, many prestigious colleges of Homoeopathy, are run by the Ministry of Ayush and by the State governments or self-financed institutions. These impart recognised and formalised educational courses, training, and teaching in various courses of Homoeopathy. There is also a dedicated autonomous research organization running a Postgraduate course.

What is Homoeopathy:

Homoeopathy is one of the seven Ayush systems. It is most preferred system of complementary medicine. The term Homoeopathy is derived from two Greek words ‘homoio’ meaning ‘similar’ and ‘pathos’ meaning ‘suffering’ or  ‘like cures likes’. The fundamental principles of Homoeopathy were laid down by the German physician Dr Samuel Hahnemann.

Homoeopathy is a therapeutic method of treatment based on the concept of individualization and holism. Homoeopathy is a unique system of medicine in terms of its sources and preparation. Method of preparation includes the potentization of medicinal substance to the minute level by which the most inert substance can become the most potent dynamic medicine, enough to stimulate the body’s self-healing capability.

These remedies are made from natural substances such as part of plants, animals, their healthy or diseased secretions, minerals and imponderabilia.   Homoeopathy can successfully treat the acute, long-standing chronic diseases where allopathy has limitation without its after effects. Though this system of medicine was born in Germany, now it has become an integral part of the Indian system of medicine.

Career Prospects:

A well-trained Homoeopathy practitioner can work as a medical officer at various private and government Homoeopathy hospitals/ dispensaries. He or she can  start his or her own clinic after getting the requisite degree in Homoeopathy.

  4. Connecting the past, present and future with fashion, the DNA of human history and culture is connected with the future in a brand-new way through technology, making the memories of the past a part of the clothing of the future. Nicolas’ mission is not only to draw inspiration from artists, but to give a modern atmosphere to Greek and Roman art. Nicolas was born in the 6th century BC and the contrapposto was incorporated into the design. The exaggerated soft silhouette of the Renaissance in the 15th century formed the key to expressing femininity this season. The structure of the costume is perfectly combined with the sense of artistic abstraction, giving the girls bold body proportions. The models put on exaggerated inverted triangles like heroic futuristic gladiators. The tailoring of the sculpture is inseparable from the use of ultra-modern fabrics. The stitching of various materials, heavy embroidery, and the fusion of tough and soft materials are all embodied in the simple Byzantine style cocktail dress, which is completed under the blessing of keen aesthetics and innovative craftsmanship. 5. What the Science Says About the Safety of Ayurvedic Medicine
Some Ayurvedic preparations include metals, minerals, or gems. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration warns that the presence of metals in some Ayurvedic products makes them potentially harmful.
A 2015 published survey of people who use Ayurvedic preparations showed that 40 percent had elevated blood levels of lead and some had elevated blood levels of mercury. About one in four of the supplements tested had high levels of lead and almost half of them had high levels of mercury.
A 2015 case report published in the Center for Disease Control’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report linked elevated blood lead levels in a 64-year-old woman with Ayurvedic preparations purchased on the Internet.
Although rare, Ayurvedic products may cause arsenic poisoning.
