Shodhana

Shodhana treatment aims to remove the causative factors of psychosomatic and somatic diseases. The process comprises both internal and external purification. The usual practices are Panchkarma (medically Purgation, induced Emesis, Decoction enema, Oil Enema, and Nasal administration of medicines), Pre-panchakarma procedures (internal and external oleation and induced sweating). Panchkarma treatment is focused on metabolic management. It provides required purificatory effect, besides conferring therapeutic benefits. Shodhana treatment is especially helpful in musculoskeletal disease conditions, neurological disorders, respiratory diseases, certain vascular or neuro-vascular states, metabolic and degenerative disorders.
