What is Herbal Tea?

Herbal tea is nothing but a combination of certain medical herbs that offers numerous health benefits to humans. In Ayurveda, herbs play a very significant role in the treatment and herbal teas are one of them. It has been around for a very long time and comes with endless qualities. Made of tea leaves and other herbal ingredients, it has antacid, soothing, appetizing, antitussive, anti-common cold and antipyretic effects.

Herbal tea is technically a herbal liquid infused from various leaves, bark, fruits, roots, and flowers that is being widely used in Ayurvedic treatments. It is derived from an edible and non-tea plant and mostly consumed with hot water. People around the world consume herbal teas in a number of ways.  Herbal teas, nowadays, are available in a vast variety with different flavours qualities and health benefits.
